Mastercleanse Diet Beginners

I got to say I tried a million diets in my life name it I almost had it all but this detoxifying was least of my priorities then. My friend,  Mae introduced me to this lemon cleanse at first I was so hesitant to try it since it required me not to eat any solids and only have a recipe of lemonade and laxative tea everyday. As I did my further studies for this cleanse I also learned it's one way to detoxify my body in a sense that all my toxins such as plaque in the intestines form all the unhealthy and oily foods I ate can be washed away by doing this 10 day cleanse. I thought to myself it didn't hurt to try in ten days, right? Wrong those 10 ten days will be my test of FIRE. It meant not eating all the food that I wanted, watching everyone eat.

I then decided I guess 10 DAYS is better than 2 years of trying to lose the same amount of pounds. Now on my 3RD day and i'm still alive so here's my first 2 days.

P.S here's the link to the site for more info: http://www.thelemonadesite.com/lemonade-diet-recipe.html

Before DAY 1:
Soft diet
My menu for today: Breakfast: oatmeal, Lunch: Caesar salad and brownie Dinner: laxative tea.

It may sound way better but this was the day that my body was suppose to get used to the whole no food in the tummy thing. It was difficult and painful not eating at all but alteast I had a taste of what to expect for the next 10 days.

DAY 1:

The schedule for this day was intense WEDNESDAY. We had lunch with tito jem at Blufish eastwood oh boy I was all googly eye over the food! day 1 was pretty easy because I was definitely motivated to start my cleansing. Althoug, I noticed  I wasn't able to bring extra supply of lemonade so I ended up losing energy by 5PM and fot home like 7pm. When I got home I drank 1/3 of my bottle and luckily my drink kind of made me drowsy so I slept a bit early than the usual.

Day 2:

If yesterday was bearable this day killed me! Had lunch with Mia at Bonchon the everything at steak with Noy and what's worse was he craved for cheesecake there. Ya'll get the point but, luckily I wasn't like going wild or anything I was quite calm with the fact that I wasn't all ready to give up. the cleanse made me go to the bathroom more often doing so much number 2 it felt like I had diarrhea but all of them were just the parasites and toxins in our system so I guess that's a good sign.

All in all i'm still very hungry at times and if I do I just drink the tea, I'm not very disciplined at this but in desperate times we call for desperate measures. In hoping to finish this cleanse I hope I can achieve something far better that loosing weight.

All my ingredients are from healthy Options and the lemons can just be bought at the Grocery.

Will keep you posted for the next 7 days!:) Ciao!:)

Ready for take off

Its been a while since I've blogged and that means months because of the hectic schedule of a bum fresh graduate. I've had my days of happy moments and days where I felt confused and hopeless of what I really want. I prayed really hard and learned that my patience made a big difference. I thought rushing into things made it better since they say don't rest after graduation. I was wrong I tried finding a job but then my heart and body even mind didn't seem like wanting it as much. It was difficult starting all over again the interviews felt like auditions and casting made me more nervous than ever. I went to all my interviews and believe it or not each one of them is different from one another. I tried applying as a beauty consultant, Teacher, Marketing assistant, reporter, and finally a flight attendant. I mostly Aced them and fortunately was just rejected by one. The choosing part was the blessing I didn't know which one to choose from. They were all different, it was a matter of what I really wanted in my heart to do FIRST. They're all part of my dreams and so, to top them all off in the middle of my dilemma then came my high school best friend who is forever my inspiration in life told me the simplest thing and the sign I've been waiting for. Back in high school she reminded me of our little book of goals and dreams and on that list it was written with my handwriting emphasizing "To become a flight attendant" with that everything fell back to it's place like all things floating in my mind suddenly fell on the ground and knew that I need to fulfill that little high school girl's dream. I'm glad that almost all my dreams and goals in that list are slowly getting that small little check marks, it wont stop until every item in that list will be checked and in time it's my turn to help my little boys and girls do a list of they're own to fulfill like mine. As of now my adventure awaits me I'M READY FOR TAKE OFF.:)

2nd year Anniversary Date

The simplest but one of the best dates I had with Noy, we really enjoyed the tire-less, stress-less,and  pressure-less date just to celebrate our anniversary date. We didn't plan out anything at all and it ended up pretty sweet. By 6pm we decided to just have our dinner date at the Fort since they have a variety of good restaurants there and we ended up at  Serendra Sentro a Filipino cuisine  (Noy's Fav).

pika-pika platter

fried kesong puti

sinigang na corned beef

grilled honey glazed pork

Four our starters we had the pika-pika platter which was composed of chicken lolipop, bangus rolls and Chorizo Noy liked the chicken lolipop because of its strong taste the other appetizer was the fried  Kesong Puti and oh my gosh it was so good I really recommend that.

For the Main course we both had brown rice with the grilled  Honey glazed Pork and corned beef sinigang, weird huh? but no! it was really good! what I liked about Sentro was the service. Before having our sinigang they gave us a portion of the sinigang's soup to try the "asim" level and asked us if it was enough for us and the taste tester was really good already.

After that dilectible meal, we decided not to have a heavy dessert since the dinner itself was satisfying already and we needed to have long walk before the night ended so grabbed some Jamba Juice!:)
It's our first time to try it and thankfully we tried it together!

The date will definitely be a memorable one! We had plan A til C but we ended up just making it spontaneous since we forgot that it was Tues and his car was coding on a Tues. This two years being with Noy helped us grow not just as a couple but as individuals we realized that despite being together almost every other day we give each other room to grow as individuals and as partners we learned to help support each other in our own endeavors and that's one way that made our relationship last and hopefully last even longer. Morever, the most important one of all other factors is the fact that we put God at the center of our relationship he make us even stronger day by day and I couldnt thank him ebough for giving me such a wonderful boyfriend in Noy. Only God can make us stronger with his love and faith we learn to be more at peace with him and strive to be better partners to each other.

HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY GUMMY!:)  Thank you for the love and all else that comes with it!:)

Our Day/Date at Iloilo and Bacolod

Calea

Our day Started a 4:15 am at they airport when they told us that they vlosed our flight 4:10 already. We missed the 4:55 am flight from MNL to BCD.  Imagine me and Noy anxious to get to Bacolod first thing in the morning and there we were at the airport with nothing to do but catch the Iloilo 8:30 am flight since next flight that was available and nearest place to BCD.

playing games the whole time
I just woke up here

3 hours at the airport
We then headed of to Iloilo for a very short while, straight to the pier to ride the super cat ferry. Oh boy, was I almost sea sick. After an hour and a half at the boat we finally arrived to Bacolod!:) Before anything else, we were hella hungry! Noy brought be to his fav steak place there at Pendy's!:)

My Rib-eye steak

Noy has Pendy's steak

after

I loved the steaks a Pendy's I had the Rib eye with the tomato sauce base, Noy had had Pendy's steak and oh my gosh both orders were amazballs! all my dull tired eyes beacame alive again! haha The Price was just right for the big serving compared here in Manila. The quality and flavor of the beef was really good the beef melted on our mouth. For dessert we tried the famous Half moon cake, it was very popular there and we just had to give it a try. We shared just one slice cause i'm saving my tummy for other goodies.:) The half moon cake was like yema on a mamon it wasn't so sweet at all just right:)

Half moon cake

after doing some business there, Noy toured me a bit in his hometown saw his elementary school and met one of his grade school teachers. Our last stop was.. drum roll please! CALEA! :) I ordered the chocolate cheesecake, it was really sweet and chocolatey. Noy ordered the Chocolate mousse he's been trying to bring me one from Bacolod but they won't allow it since it would melt easily. But, the chocolate mousse was delectable it wasn't as sweet and you can definitely finish a whole slice without finding it too sweet. We also tried the Ice cream cake and BINGO! that was the best for me! It beats a lot of the ice cream cakes that I've tried already. The ice cream cake's sweetness level was just right for it to be mouth watering.

We arrived at Manila around 9:30 pm it was really tiring but this one day trip was definitely worth it even if it was only for a day. Noy was really happy I was able to visit his hometown and I was even happier that I was able to really experience his stories about Bacolod first hand. I'd love to go back there anytime of the year since I missed a lot of places to visit, food to try, and a lot more in our list. I heart Bacolod already!:)

That gift of Love; youth-camp scoop

Love is in the air.. AT CAMP!:) Like what I said on my previous blog about camp there was so much to say that I had to chop them all down and make a separate blog on all the things that needed a lot of space to talk about. This was one of the subjects that struck me the most, the Christian Couples:) As much as I want to elaborate every love story of each one of them which I could if only I had more time to spend with them I concluded they're stories with just one bible verse 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 need I say more? Someday I get to be that partner in life that is imperfectly perfect for my partner. A wife that is all for God and practices his ways, right now i'm doing my best to head in that direction. I need to learn more and experience more obstacles to even reach my goal it's not done overnight. It's the path I take towards that goal that matters the journey I go through before having what all these couples have in common and that is GOD. :)
