It's been a long time since I had sort of retreat in my life to be exact it was back in my Senior year in high school. I've been praying for some sort of enlightenment from God if he could just give me sometime with him outside my busy city life and he did, in a form of a camp. My very good Friend Nadz invited me to join her Light house Christian or YAMO family in her church. Nadz Btw is like my Guardian Angel here on earth i'll blog about those people in my life soon (suddenly an idea arises) anyway, so you see how this camp was really a sign that God could hear my prayers. It was a 3 day camp trip at BALAY INDANG in Cavite/Tagaytay. The place was AWESOME! I tell you it was a perfect place to relax, rejuvenate, and most of all to worship God.

I met so many wonderful people mostly Christians and a few Catholics including myself but we have one thing in common, we share the same faith. We all have a very strong love and connection with God.

Coming back from the trip I took home with me my renewed faith, better understanding of God, seeker of the truth and his love, tummy filleed seriously I have to write a different blog about the food there but, I needed to concentrate on this more. Just a summary it was MOUTHWATERING!) lastly, the new friends that God made me meet, they're all a keeper! I see Jesus in each one of them and they really inspire me to be like them. living in faith.:)

Everything that we did at the camp was a highlight, from every session we learned more about God and a lot of verses on the bible that is very much relatable to what is currently happening to us. That we are saved if we choose to be saved if we want to. Aside from all the things that I learned from the camp itself one thing that was much appreciated was the sharing of stories and experiences form one another. I can't share the details but one thing I can share is that all the stories enlightened me and I suddenly saw a whole perspective in life. How everything is based on our decisions and by just having faith in God that all will go as planned if we just keep believing and seeking the right path that was ment for us.

Jermiah 51:46 "But do not Panic; do not be afraid when you hear the first rumor of approaching forces for rumors keep coming year by year" - so much that I can relate to, God spoke to me with his words that I didn't feel alone anymore. My doubt and worries are lifted up to him. :)

It was just some ordinary day just before Petron's game against Alaska in Cebu, Noy and I decided to hang out for one whole day til late night chillin and just simply not thinking about anything to worry about. This idea of ours eventually worked, It was rare of us to have dates that would really help us relax (kulang nalang massage) nevertheless, it was comforting to just have each other's company. This date was just watching a light hearted movie puss in boots Antonio Banderas was hilarious! I swear Noy and I kept laughing the whole movie even if we were surrounded my family and kids I think we enjoyed the movie more than anybody in the cinema. We then had dinner at Mediterranean and had fun Greek food what a description but while we were chatting so much we didn't notice we finished our food already. Too full for dessert we jsut decided to head home and relax the night away. so much for stressful days that we forget the best remedy is with the one we love:)
