2nd year Anniversary Date

The simplest but one of the best dates I had with Noy, we really enjoyed the tire-less, stress-less,and  pressure-less date just to celebrate our anniversary date. We didn't plan out anything at all and it ended up pretty sweet. By 6pm we decided to just have our dinner date at the Fort since they have a variety of good restaurants there and we ended up at  Serendra Sentro a Filipino cuisine  (Noy's Fav).

pika-pika platter

fried kesong puti

sinigang na corned beef

grilled honey glazed pork

Four our starters we had the pika-pika platter which was composed of chicken lolipop, bangus rolls and Chorizo Noy liked the chicken lolipop because of its strong taste the other appetizer was the fried  Kesong Puti and oh my gosh it was so good I really recommend that.

For the Main course we both had brown rice with the grilled  Honey glazed Pork and corned beef sinigang, weird huh? but no! it was really good! what I liked about Sentro was the service. Before having our sinigang they gave us a portion of the sinigang's soup to try the "asim" level and asked us if it was enough for us and the taste tester was really good already.

After that dilectible meal, we decided not to have a heavy dessert since the dinner itself was satisfying already and we needed to have long walk before the night ended so grabbed some Jamba Juice!:)
It's our first time to try it and thankfully we tried it together!

The date will definitely be a memorable one! We had plan A til C but we ended up just making it spontaneous since we forgot that it was Tues and his car was coding on a Tues. This two years being with Noy helped us grow not just as a couple but as individuals we realized that despite being together almost every other day we give each other room to grow as individuals and as partners we learned to help support each other in our own endeavors and that's one way that made our relationship last and hopefully last even longer. Morever, the most important one of all other factors is the fact that we put God at the center of our relationship he make us even stronger day by day and I couldnt thank him ebough for giving me such a wonderful boyfriend in Noy. Only God can make us stronger with his love and faith we learn to be more at peace with him and strive to be better partners to each other.

HAPPY 2ND ANNIVERSARY GUMMY!:)  Thank you for the love and all else that comes with it!:)

Our Day/Date at Iloilo and Bacolod

Calea

Our day Started a 4:15 am at they airport when they told us that they vlosed our flight 4:10 already. We missed the 4:55 am flight from MNL to BCD.  Imagine me and Noy anxious to get to Bacolod first thing in the morning and there we were at the airport with nothing to do but catch the Iloilo 8:30 am flight since next flight that was available and nearest place to BCD.

playing games the whole time
I just woke up here

3 hours at the airport
We then headed of to Iloilo for a very short while, straight to the pier to ride the super cat ferry. Oh boy, was I almost sea sick. After an hour and a half at the boat we finally arrived to Bacolod!:) Before anything else, we were hella hungry! Noy brought be to his fav steak place there at Pendy's!:)

Noy has Pendy's steak

I loved the steaks a Pendy's I had the Rib eye with the tomato sauce base, Noy had had Pendy's steak and oh my gosh both orders were amazballs! all my dull tired eyes beacame alive again! haha The Price was just right for the big serving compared here in Manila. The quality and flavor of the beef was really good the beef melted on our mouth. For dessert we tried the famous Half moon cake, it was very popular there and we just had to give it a try. We shared just one slice cause i'm saving my tummy for other goodies.:) The half moon cake was like yema on a mamon it wasn't so sweet at all just right:)

Half moon cake

after doing some business there, Noy toured me a bit in his hometown saw his elementary school and met one of his grade school teachers. Our last stop was.. drum roll please! CALEA! :) I ordered the chocolate cheesecake, it was really sweet and chocolatey. Noy ordered the Chocolate mousse he's been trying to bring me one from Bacolod but they won't allow it since it would melt easily. But, the chocolate mousse was delectable it wasn't as sweet and you can definitely finish a whole slice without finding it too sweet. We also tried the Ice cream cake and BINGO! that was the best for me! It beats a lot of the ice cream cakes that I've tried already. The ice cream cake's sweetness level was just right for it to be mouth watering.

We arrived at Manila around 9:30 pm it was really tiring but this one day trip was definitely worth it even if it was only for a day. Noy was really happy I was able to visit his hometown and I was even happier that I was able to really experience his stories about Bacolod first hand. I'd love to go back there anytime of the year since I missed a lot of places to visit, food to try, and a lot more in our list. I heart Bacolod already!:)

That gift of Love; youth-camp scoop

Love is in the air.. AT CAMP!:) Like what I said on my previous blog about camp there was so much to say that I had to chop them all down and make a separate blog on all the things that needed a lot of space to talk about. This was one of the subjects that struck me the most, the Christian Couples:) As much as I want to elaborate every love story of each one of them which I could if only I had more time to spend with them I concluded they're stories with just one bible verse 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 need I say more? Someday I get to be that partner in life that is imperfectly perfect for my partner. A wife that is all for God and practices his ways, right now i'm doing my best to head in that direction. I need to learn more and experience more obstacles to even reach my goal it's not done overnight. It's the path I take towards that goal that matters the journey I go through before having what all these couples have in common and that is GOD. :)
