My First legit make- up workshop

This is by far the most exciting blog I've ever worked on because as everyone knows I LOVE MAKE- UP! learning from Youtube or any other make up artist I just love learning it and up to this day I won't stop wanting to learn some more. I finally found a workshop online and from friends that Props tools and cosmetics have their monthly workshop with none other than the ever so great Clarence Paul of Mega Fashion Crew he's the top2 or should I say the 1st runner up make up artist; congrats Clarence!

The workshop was in Astoria at Ortigas and we were only about 10 people, it was ideal than a bigger class so everyone will be able to learn more and Clarence could assist all of us as we went through. Here's the thing, us girls we know about make up what we don't know is what best suits our skin type, skine tone, shape, and most importantly how to use them. What we learned from the workshop was everything thats basic, from skin care, foundation, eyebrows highlighting &contouring, and eye make up the last one was the batch favorite as everyone tried their really best to apply eye make up like the one Clarence made perfectly at his model.  Even if we think we know a lot we might be missing out the basics that is actually the essential part of our make up routine. I definitely learned a lot from this workshop.

What they gave we're hand outs, this eye catching Pallete, and below is the 3 piece duo brushes that I've always wanted to have!:)

I had so much fun and I'd love to do it all over again! With me here are the pretty ladies of batch4 with Clarence Paul.
Props Tools & Cosmetics  I would like to thank Delle Tercia for the Pictures and I grabbed a bit from the site:)

Likha Diwa to all Pinoy Dieters out there

I love food but, almost all that I love are really bad for my health or lets just say really bad for me if I want to lose 10 lbs before the Christmas season starts. Well it's difficult now a days to find a specific restaurant out there that can really give in to your craving like burgers sisigs and a whole lot more. Here comes Likha Diwa, I've been here thrice already it's a vegetarian restaurant that serves tasty meals and substitutes the fatty foods to veggies. It may sound off or doubtful but after trying our orders you'd definitely would rather have a diet day everyday!:) Okay, kill me now but I forgot the name of the street where this place is located but it's along katipunan then you turn left going to CHED but before you reach CHED Likha Diwa is just to your left.
It's a small cozy place, very Classic Filipino setting with a homey feel to it

just like kids we love the set up where you sit on the floor with short tables much more fun to eat
just to show a full few of the short tables with pillows

Artworks were everywhere the place was filled with artworks of Filipino artists
Plus! you don't have to call out the waiter/waitress they give you this maracas to call them:)

VIOLA! ze food! I had my veggie burger! that I seriously recommend it filled me up easily plus it wasn't the greasy burger that we always have. The brown rice tastes like white rice so it's not bland at all and it's really sticky not the usual. lastly, their best seller the TOFU SISIG, if you don't love tofu once you've tried this you'd think twice. and for dessert well we ate so much already that we decided to take home some of their scrumptious oatmeal with choco chip and fiber seeds cookies which was really cheap like p15 a piece. We had other dishes to try and all others were equally satisfying. the price was just right for it's taste. So if your around the area drop by LIKHA DIWA! hope to bump into you there!:)

Try Tea Beri

So after the Petron vs Bmeg game wait, Congrats Petron for winning their first game of the season. We headed to A-venue Makati ave to grab some late dinner we saw this new tea place just at the side of the building. Noy and I are die hard tea lovers name it! Serenitea, Happy lemon, Chat time, and the list goes on. we decided to try this one. Teaberi, the place is small it's like a small stall with chairs and tables outside the stall although it's not that cozy since it's beside the street but decent enough to sit down and chat with friends. I ordered the green tea with milk froth so it's like the happy lemons version of green tea with rock salt and cheese but, what I like about Teaberi's is that the milk froth isn't as rich as the rock salt with cheese it was just smooth and light on the taste buds. I recommend that to greentea lovers. Next is Noy's matcha green tea with red bean well it's like cha time's, almost as exact but it's a lot sweeter and the red bean is crushed compared to cha time's un-crushed ones's (did I say that right?) the third that we ordered is the Caramel milk tea they say this was the best seller. Once again just like serenitea's Hokkaido it matched the exact taste but with level of sweetness which was normal it wasn't as sweet as the Hokkaido it was sort of the mild sugar rush version, that was Noy's mom ordered .  Over all Tea Beri isn't new to the tea lovers taste buds it just improved most of the cup of tea in every kind of tea place here. They have different categories there's milk tea's froth teas and regular iced tea's. I still give it  4 thumbs up for the quality and taste because they weren't trying to hard to please the customer by making it too sweet just to be able to enjoy. So, if your around the A-venue area and craving for some tea try Tea Beri! Enjoy!

My Wonder Fruit

Have you ever had that one fruit that you'll never get tired of eating? or rather a fruit that when you see it, you wont stop munching till your tummy hurts? well mine's none other than a Papaya. I know for some people they think the taste is bad or it makes you go to the bathroom more than once a day but before I knew the healthy benefits of my favorite fruit let me share with you how I began loving my wonder fruit.

It all began back in 3rd year high school when my dad would buy papayas because his doctor recommended that for his recovery of course he didn't want to be the only one eating  that so, "damay-damay" was what he told us. So it began to be my breakfast from 3rd year high school til like 2nd year college that i've been having my papaya, 3 straight years? not bad at all imagine how healthy I was then! It was even my diet during my pageant days. I realized eating it changed my whole system, I wake up not feeling so drowsy, bowel movement is excellent, skin is smoother, my immune system is a lot stronger. We all know these but..

I found out that the benefits that I gained was incredible! it was more than I thought it would have;

  • I love low calorie food and beverages so if you guys didn't know papaya is very low in calories just about 40 calories in every 100 grams.

  • like what I've said it helps with the good bowel movement that we need to help us flush out the waste in our body this is because it has good amount of soluble dietary fiber.

  • like most fruits papaya is best eaten when ripe, so most ripe fruits contains more vitamin C. Vitamin c is needed for our immune booster.

  • just like a banana, papaya also contains a good amount of potassium and calcium, potassium it helps control the  heart rate and blood pressure it has counter effects for sodium.

The benefits goes til the end of the list but I gave some so that it may help those who loves papaya like me, understand more of the fruit that we love.

This doesn't just go to those who eats papaya but this may help everyone to learn more on what they eat and what other benefits they may get from the fruits that we eat or the fruits that you love.

Oh and one more thing the fruits now aren't as 100% as packed as before like 40 years ago.The vitamins and minerals that we get might be less already like 60-70% packed because of the fertilizers and other harvesting factors that limits the plants to grow as nutritionally as packed like before.

Hope you guys learned something new!

So,what's you'r wonder fruit?
